Going through my uncles 1.5 ls getting ready to set out some weasel boxes, and noticed a few were older Newhouse 1.5 ls.
I'm not a trap ocllector, nor do I know much about old traps- I got a couple of doz Diamonds Triumphs, oddball double jaws and jumps that I've come across over the years figure why lose them I don't need them-
But was wondering- do those newhouse have any value, more so than the B & ls?

From what I have seen Steve they usually go for 10.00-30.00, depending on condition. Look for standing bears to the right of the spring stamp, then you are talking big bucks.

A friend of mine was telling me that when he was a kid... His father was trapping muskrat and he saw more than once his father mad when he was taking in his hands a NH trap ( he could remember the weird chain look compared to Victor long spring)... His father could not or had hard time on the boat setting the NH traps so he saw him more than once pitching NH traps in the river because of that...can you imagine...LoL
Now his son... He's a trap collector...LoL

Also look to see if they were made in Canada or Kenwood, NY. Those are worth more than the ones made in Oneida.
