Gotta give that little fiesty grey some credit. Here it was almost in a death grip of the fisher and when released he charges the fisher! That is an attitude. No wonder they survive well with yotes and other larger predators.

I'm surprised the fisher didn't kill the fox. They are very strong animals.
I don't think that they get preyed upon by anything.

Great scene. You really caught something there. Fishers. Wow what a critter.
That grey got a real butt whooping. Interesting how the predators deal with each other. Territorial I think.
Then there is the age old cat versus canine hatred.
Caught a double about two weeks ago. Large grey fox. Male bobcat came by and kicked his butt real good. Several deep bites deep in the neck area (the kill bites) and also chest area. Then chewed both ears off.
Sending a message. Who was the top dog (cat) in that area.
The large tom then walked ten feet and stepped in a second trap.
Good deal for me. The cat then got his butt kicked. Ruger Bearcat time.
Have a pic of both. Will post one of these days.

Awesome video. Ya dont see that everyday. I remember when a friend of mine had a grey killed in a trap, just left the foot, he reset with the foot like a post set and next day had a large fisher. Couldve been coyotes but the fisher catch makes ya wonder

I wonder how reds and fisher get along. I'm now guessing that it would be the same result: a dead fox.

That fox looked like he was a hurtin' unit. Thanks again to some meddling human to interfere with mother nature. The guy should have just stood still and let nature take it's course. Then the guy talks to it like it's a pet. Pfft!
