Well I caught a grey fox today, yep excited as it has been over 20 years since I have been back in timber fox country! A nice little female sure is a pretty one. Having some fun trapping again.

those 2 bridger offsets seem to treat them well with good swiveling and jc conners shocks springs hard to tell what foot she was caught on.

I was from up North now I'm from down south LOL. Where I lived up north the past 20 or so years haven't been in grey fox habitat much at all.

none on the yotes or cats but will get after them now that the rifle deer season ended on Tuesday. Rifle deer season a major deal down here. So getting some more stuff out for cats and yotes. Problem being these are all 5.00 coyotes LOL. Ugly compaired to what I had in NW SD. Yellows and reds are the primary colors. I want cats to be prime before I go after them to much, flat southern cats not going to do me much good. They are what they are but I'm having fun and that is what counts, coons galore and I mean galore I swear they are having 2 litters a year down here LOL. I have caught some very, very small coons in daggers. Coons everywhere, if I had more time 150 a week would be nothing to do around this area easy. I have one pond less than an acre in size and running daggers on it for a week 15 coons and still counting.

Although I don't run a shock spring #2 Bridgers are pretty hard on my greys.

renny can yolu tell what foot I caught this grey by? I think the shock springs and good swiveling make a differance.

Nope, and I get them with little to no damage also but thats not always the case and not the best trap for greys IMO.

nver said the best trap but a good compramisetrap for sure. The 2 bridgers are a fox, coyote, southern cat combo trap and yes these are laminated and good swivels and shock spring make a differance IMO. Have I caught 30 or 40 grays in them? Nope but so far so good and in this area would no pay to set for grays with other traps specific to them.
