I added a fur bench and new beam (removable) to the shed. Should serve double duty as a drink holder while skun'n.Made wooden slot to hold back of beam in place. Made 2, 'L' shaped brackets, to hold front of beam. It's solid. Almost time to grease 'er up...

Instead of starting another thread, here is a question based upon my evaluation of the pictures. Does the angle of the fleshing beam make a difference or is it purely personal preference? I have seen them from flat to almost vertical and never asked the question before.

Personal, I guess. Mine is at a 45* angle. I worked for a fur buyer that had them flat like that, I didnt like it but got use to it.

Personal preference.
On same wall,I had a wall mounted beam on hinge and hinged leg for several years that was flat style. Ole beam became unstable so I built small bench to mount new beam.
The new beam hits my mid-stomach and seem to be the right height for me. Flat style, no bending over, no reaching up. Just push or stand at side and pull.
