Did you see all the tracks in that first photo?!?! Pic #2 looks more like home to me -- but no obvious set location in the photo. Pic #3? I wouldn't know where to start in this habitat unless there are some unseen roads or paths through the prairie.

Yep those tracks are real fur magnets. And I have actually caught fox by hanging snares right on the steel, Of course the tracks had been abandoned.
Good luck to ya.

The first pic looks like really good gray fox habitat, I have areas that look similar around here on unused rail lines. A mountain bike is pretty useful for those spots to speed up a check. Where's all the white-tail does in the 2nd and 3rd pics ?

That I hope will be as well FWS!!!! I have missed the little grey fox and will be interesting to see what kind of numbers I get on them. I get a nice prime male and he will be added to my tanned collection for sure!
The deer are there just in the woods LOL. The deer limit down here is crazy I can by alot of tags for sure, but only one with horns fine by me. No one should go hungry down this way as doe tags are 7.00 each.

My favorite furbearer, saw 7 in a 5 mile stretch driving through a canyon at about 3 AM a couple weeks ago. The numbers are huge this year in every area I've gone into that holds gray fox. Now if there's only a market for them.................
You need a pressure canner and a whole bunch of 1/2 pint and pint canning jars. The 1/2 pints are just right to make a couple good sandwiches on a bolilo or a French roll.
