had a great time as always.
Had a good crowd through the door, in fact Sat afternoon was real busy. Most of the vendors that I talked to, did well.
Weather was perfect (mid 70s and NO humidity on Sat) and as always the after hours bull sessions were entertaining and good fun. Met some new people, and got a chance to talk more with some I've met briefly in the past. One of my favorite conventions, and this year was no exception.
The UP trappers are planing on making a bid for the 2013 nationals- they have a great facility, and great weather for a convention- plus, you in da UP!. our little part of Canada here in the states, eh. Good luck to thme in their quest, and thanks for your hospitality.

I too, had a great time even with that time being sooooo short.
A National would be great. Never been to one, as they have always been so far away.

Any pictures? That would be very interesting to see a national in the UP. A long time ago the NTA was suppose to be in Escanaba but something happened and they moved it away from the UP Trappers. Was a lot of bad blood after that. I have always liked the UP Trappers conventions in Escanaba. Jim

Escanaba was very nice. The UP trappers did everything to accomodate dealers. Set up tv coverage and radio also at show. If you couldnt find what you wanted you werent there! Thanks UP trappers.

A national in the UP. I hope that the board would take a serious look at a good bid. The UP is a long ways from the preferred regions but that is the job of the promotion committee.
We had the first national in WI in over 20 years last year. It was a lot of work but worth it. The fellowship and energy that is created will be with you for several years. That to me is one of the real benefits of putting on a major convention. The increased energy, activity and some new players get active in the organization and trapping.

the facilities there are top notch bryce-
plenty of camping, and literally minutes from many motels.
