Wow never saw that many rats sell that fast. Took a break for about a hour and they were done. I had just 3 Incidental damage control rats and I got over a $9.00 average on them.

I'm just amazed, that this ratm arket is continuing for as long as it has. You would think, eventually, that it would pull up beaver and wild mink. hope it continues!

From what I heard from some guys they did pretty good on the mink. Beaver has been a hard sell for years. If I didn't have to catch them to get to the otter I would be beaver free. but the castor pretty much evened things out. $50.00 a lb no grade and no reduction for drying. Over $900.00 for my castor.

Why would he have wanted to chase those bit up spring rats, my last week of the season Manitoba junk damaged only went for 10.38, they really pulled my average down overall. Oh wait once I also clicked over to Canadian dollars, I lost a couple more Uncle Bens on the mouseclick. Averages were up 3$ more than what I expected.

Aint that the truth on weighing it gary.
I'll never ship castor again. Well maybe never is a long time.
Beetle the castor has probably been sold already but it most likely wont show up on your account until its about time to mail checks.

The castor has been weighed and graded and out the door with this strong demand, it is just not entered all in the computer, give it a couple more days and it will show.
The Canadian dollar is worth more but the fur is sold in USD, they do have a new program so the daily price conversions is posted and you can go back and forth on their web page. It is very close to what the Bank of Canada post daily and not off 4 % like some other's are. But when those otters were going 200 USD , I was not complaining with 300$ Can payments.
