Anyone read Sherm Bloms biography book on Bill Nelson? I just ordered this book will be a good I think to add to my collection.

A very good book and belongs in anyone's trapping library.I have always likes reading about Nelson's wilderness marten lines in particular.

Yep Great book Sherm is an old friend of mine and sent me a copy just after it went on the market well worth the money! It sure is full of history! I'm sure you'l enjoy it! regards, ed

It's a good read. Until I read it I never realized how much stuff he actually did for an income.

Yep its a real good book. Like buckfreak, he did a bunch of things besides trapping, all pretty much living off the land.

wow great book I started it this afternoon and couldn't put it down until I finished it about 15 mins ago!!!! Very intersting stuff and to see how some have modeled themselves after ol' Bill. He did OK for an Ioweigan didn't he LOL...............................

Yup, really enjoyed it. Interesting guy....very diversified :-) Losing all those traps in a fire Ouch

It was a good read and two others like it that I read that you may already have read and thats Russ Carmens biography book and also Johnny Thorpes 50 years a trapper/treasure hunter. Both top of the line reading material.
