Congratulations to Fur Harvesters on the success of their recent sale. It is evident from the prices obtained in this sale and the NAFA sale in February that wild fur is finally on the road to recovery.

robert at which % mark would you think a problem with clearance on eastern type coon? Is it a problem if 100% didn't clear, or 80% or 50% or 35%
just wondering
what was nafa's % clearence on eastern or the dreaded semi on last sale

tim, for me its a 100% clearance insofar as the fur markets general health is concerned.
if its a good, high interest sale, with fur being in demand, than everything but outright junk should go- so again, for me to call it a sellers maket, I'd expect close to 100% across the board
did FHA have a good sale for this market? I'm guessing so if comparable to NAFA and FHA last sale-
did they ahve a good enough sale to state wild fur in demand, desired?
maybe- won't know until the clearances are shown-
Realistically, I'm reading here and there that 20- 25% no sales seems to be in the ballpark on coon, and to me, thats too high a rejection of my fur to call it a good market-
there is a big difference between a good sale- and a good market. A sale can only do what the market supports.

Wheelie, Personally I would gauge it at around 30% being a problem.
Can't answer about the NAFA sale, I wasn't home or have internet access to follow the auction. You probably know more about that auction than I do.

As of today, just over 2% of my rats didn't sell, but I had a few that mink or other rats got ahold of so they were pretty beat up.
Interested to see clearances on coon and beaver.
