Yes we get a fair amount of that colour mink around here. Mink are not native to Newfoundland they are all descended from farm mink that were released back in the 50's.

I don't pleat my tails, makes no difference $$. and I like the look of "original"-
besides...Lori pins the mink tails.........my fingers get too tingley now a days if I do too many.
barry- interesting on the mink- are those colors low grade?

Yes trappenman they are sometimes low graded mink. But every now and then you get a nice big buck silver mink ( that is what I call them ) that is a good price. I pin my tails that way because I was alway thaught that it bunches the fur up in the inpection window. Which makes the mink look better to the grader.
