I love my cuddeback. Have been looking at a new camera that has just come on the scene. Named plotwatcher or something like that. Doesnt take pics at night but does take pics every couple of seconds and when played back looks like a video. Would be great for watching a food plot/trail as it doesnt have to have a critter triger the shutter, so the animal could be a long way away.

This is the camera I use & sell. I use my cameras on video mode to see when a whole sounder of hogs is entering a trap, so I can set the trap to get them all at once. Covert II Assassin • Extra small size 5 1/2 H x 3 1/2 W x 2 1/4 D • 24 High intensity InfraRed LED's with a 40' range and a 50 degree dispersion angle • PIR Motion Sensor with adjustable sensitivity • Ultra low stand-by current extending battery life • Wired remote control for easy programming • Accepts SD memory cards from 8mb-4gb • 1 sec to 60 min programmable delay • 1 sec 60 sec programmable video length • Fast 1.2 second trigger speed • Records still pictures or video • 3MP or 5MP picture size (adjustable) • Operates from -4F to 140F • Built in Sun/Rain shield over lens and PIR • Side opening case providies easy access • Positive locking tabs with waterproof seal • Threaded insert for tripod mounting • 1 year limited warranty makete, I have one of the plotwatchers. It is a pretty interesting camera but very limited in it's use. It has some value to deer hunters, but only tells what is moving during the day. It is almost useless in trapping. The majority of animal activity is during "night time" hours. But it will cover a whole field. The FOV seems to be the equivalent of the human eye.

I have a cuddeback.I never had a miss of a picture. If it looks like the picture is a blank, all I do is keep going back and forth on the 2 pictures and eventually I will see something as small as a chipmunk on a tree or in the leaves.

I'll second the recommendation for www.chasingame.com/ their reviews and advice are well thought out, researched and unbiased. Wish I could find more sites like their on other gear!

Got a Bushnell Trophy Cam at Xmas, like it alot, good battery life, easy to set up 2 yr. warranty. I think the Scout and Bushnell are made by the same people.
