Maybe so, but jumpshooting jackrabbits will help, too.

Keep it a sport and don't stop on the sitting ones. Just to be fair on the rabbits.

not really. They tend to run in a circular pattern, seems like it's to the left, more often than not? I keep forgetting that jackrabbits aren't everywhere? An antelope jack can cover some ground out in those Arizona flat lands. and they are bigger than a kit fox. a worthy target, for sure.

Some of the studies out of North Dakota in the late 80's put the average ages of some white tailed jack-rabbits at 7 years old. They don't reproduce as fast as their bush cousin the snowshoe hare, and have smaller litter sizes. Loaned my 22-250 to a farm boy and had him on point, when we worked the coulees. heard 4 shots. Meet up with him after the push. He passed the gun back and announced. "He did not like the gun, too much walking involved". 4 rabbits all 300 yds appart, all at different points of the compass. Free hand to boot.

I tend to shoot running game better shooting on instinct. The more i think about it and the more complicated i try to make it the worse off i am. Shots where I dont have much time and have to snap shoot I suprisingly connect on more than the ones where hes in the wide open and i have time to think about things. at least the wide open ones you sometimes can get another shot in but usually if i miss the first i might as well quit

Does the phrase " mind over matter" come to thought here. Those yotes you miss have a "sound education" after that wiss over their head.

yeah im ready for the pups to get out and about so i can shoot at some standers instead of streakers. Most of whats left now have enough sense to run. I havent shot at a standing coyote(other than called ones) in several months now

yes, eventually they run in a circle- but not for several hundred feet and more like yards. you just got to be faster lb...... Yes, we have jacks here- don't know about antelope jacks, we have the same jack as in KS, WY, etc.
