Fur in or out?
What size board? Will a coyote board work?

I have done them open and cased depends on the type of badger. Sold both for good $$ at NAFA

A wire coon stretcher works realy good to fill out the badgers. A coyote board will make them shrivel up a little

I just done one on a # 5 wire stretcher and it turned out good.

My advice Is to get someone else to do them LOL Nothing fleshes harder then a badger.

With badger the under fur has to be seen for the grading. Good filled underfur are used in hat, you may see them @ Cabelia's. Sometimes when boarded they are very difficult to turn afterwards to get fur out. They can be beaver tacked and open flat, and all these problems are solved, It's the colour and density of the underfur that puts it into the TopLots, and fleshing with few holes...

You willl make even better money if you leave the claws on.The mountainmen buy them up pretty good. If you have a local buyer that can move them or if you want to get them tanned and move them yourself.You can almost double your money,if you want to spend the time and effort.
