I got a call from a church about removing pigons fron the roof area...Does anyone have experience with removing them? The area will not allow shooting so I need another method (trapping, poison???)...Thanks

I have my own home made trap that works pretty good. For bait i use a mixture of grains either oats or cracked corn mixed with crushed oyster shells pieces as used for chickens. It works better if you gradually get them used to feeding without the trap for a few days, then place the trap, put a bowl of water in the trap along with the bait. Always leave a couple of birds in the trap to attract other birds. I have caught as high as 40 in it. It is about four feet x five feet and 12 inches high. two compartments two baffle doors made from dowls.

NIPISIGUIT - What do you mean by baffle doors made with dowls for your home-made pigon trap? Is it just a door made to swing inward so the birds can push their way in but can't push it out or is it some other design? Greenhorn
