a friend set a box trap and cought a problem beaver...but before he checked his trap, a kid found it and let it out...will it go in the trap again? kid thought it was helping the beaver now we will probably set a coni under water, but live trap would be nice, could release it in his swampland till the season starts and fur is good. how could we get it in the live trap again?

I'd try a good bait- is that what was used the first time?
Depends on how spooked the beaver got- he might never go near a box again, or he might waddle right in.
Changing locations might help.
Better check on the laws on relocating- most areas prohibit doing so- and caught transporting live animals can be a big fine.
