Hey guys! I just got my first ADC job from a guy who has muskrats tearing up his shoreline. I don't really plan on making a part-time job of ADC work, but I'll take any job that comes along. My parents asked me about insurance, and I guess I never thought about it. If something stupid happened like some kid or pet getting a trap snapped on them could be trouble. Do I say no to the guy unless I have some type of insurance, or just be extra careful in the placement of my traps? What do you guys do? Any advice would be great!! Thanks

I do some ADC work and think insurance is a great idea.
Some will even say 100% must have kinda deal.
Check with yours or your parents insurance company, many times the liability insurance is based on how much income your bringing in. If you are only doing say $1000.00 a year or less it might be really cheap for you.
There are other things that go along with it, such as are you a minor? Do you sign contracts with each customer? Is a contract of some kind required before the insurance will cover you?
The list goes on and on but you get the idea. Make some calls and check it out before you tell the guy no.
