I have some coyote cuff #33 traps and like them, not quite as well as my sterlings, but what are your thoughts and experiances with them? Also anyone have problems with the stock dogs not holding there shape after a few catches? I like the jaw spread and the wide cast jaws, and they have a great offset as well very little foot damage. your thoughts?

I have never used them, I am more of a Fox trapper, but that is going to change as time passes and I gain more knowledge from the other guys on this forum. We are starting to see more and more coyotes here in PA, and if we want to keep putting up good numbers, all of us PA trappers are going to have to become better at coyotes.

I picked up a few used at the NH convention this fall. What I've seen so far, I like them. I've had maybe half a dozen coyotes taken with them this season.
I wouldn't hesitate to get more if they appeared again.
So far so good on the dogs.

I too picked up a few of both sizes, and have been pleased with the few they have caught. Domestic problems here, so I am careful where they're put. Very sturdy and well-built, well worth the price. Have had a dog bent, but i guess any dog will bend unless beefed up, even though the PIT dog are a little bit stronger. Held a lg male in one by the toes in the 33, but if I invest in more, it'll probably be the 22. But I do love the large spread of the 33. So to answer your ?, i like them and everything is ready to go except for JC's shock spring, in my opinion.
