What exactly is the point of testing traps that will, in all practicality, be used 99.999999999% in drowning sets.
If a freaking stoploss tests well- then there is no reason in the world a #1 shouldn't test the same- assuming both were leg drowning sets.
Or are drowning sets concidered verbaten here also?

OK, so we test for muskrats, using methods that no real trappers are likely to use. Then we write about how most of the muskrats had terrible damage done to them.
Is George Orwell in charge of this program?

MChewk, thanks for keeping us up to date...IMHO, just about any trap on a properly constructed drowning set will acomplish the same result in about the same amount of time...
