Does anyone have an email address or website for him? I have found his coyote lures to be some of the most consistant lures I have used and I have a few questions to ask of him, Thanks.

I don't agree about the lure I had very little succses with It and I gave It a fair chance. Carmens out preformed It by a large margin. But that's not saying It won't work for you or In your area.

Ive used Carmens , Lenons , Dobbins, Nelsons,Weilands and they all performed good providing your set locations are on where your target animal roams and you have good sets. Every trappers traps differantly in differant aspects and those things can be successful or hinderance in catching certain furbearers with the same lures. My advice is try some of each and give them fair tests and use what works for you and your methods. Always have a backup lure to use if one isnt working for you. Good luck.

I don't think it's so much the lure as it is how it gets used. Animal populations are a lot of it as well.
I've always said anything that stinks will catch most coyotes. I will grant some is better than others, but I've yet to find any magic in a bottle.

not magic in a bottle. just some lures work well in some areas and some do better in others is all.some lures others swear by in another state i swear at here in kansas. with all the lures out there i find one or two that do real well here.its not magic but it pays to pay attention to what lures perform well on your trap line and what doesnt

Carmens lures are not the same as when russ made them, that is my observation. You look at older canine call and the new stuff two totaly different in color and ingreidants. I have found coyote creek to be a closer match to the older canine call than what is offered today as canine call.
I know a lure is good to me when I can catch wet bitch coyotes in amongst the sheep or real close by, as it has the interest to take there minds off the sheep at least. Your odds are better catching them aways back comming in or leaving, but I like lures that can hold that kind of interest. There are others but I like lenons coyotes lures for sure, they have stood the test of time among others as well.
