When you see them it's the same feeling as when a muskrat is in a beaver trap. Well, lets say 2-3 muskrats in a beaver trap! A 120 mag busted up their little race! The flying squirrel was a little ahead. They were both heading out of the box.

I was thinking today about Marten trapping and having the box set up like you have pictured. I live in a state that is cage only, so you answered my Question, thanks. I have found their sign in the snow for the past 2 years and always seen the box in a up down position, which wont work for cages. Cool pictures by the way ;D

I just noticed did someone forget to take the safety off the one spring in the first pic LOL Those weasels sure are white must have just turned EH!

I saw a study that showed that cage trapped marten often die of hypothermia.
I didn't forget the safety. i was resetting the trap and I had a hassle with the second spring. The weasel had a frozen foot that was in the way so I went back to the truck to get the setters. And the camera!

This squirrel wasn't fast enough. The weasel caught it. BUT the 120 caught both
