With the mandatory "humane" trap law comimg into effect I'm using lots of new traps.
At the end of the day some were a real chore to set. (I know I should have done it all at home but ...) The LDL 120 mags are no problem. The Belisle 120 mags are a chore in that the spring is short. You also have to squeeze them really tight to wrestle the safety in place. AND the safety is a Belisle type, meaning that you can't shake it on. The Rudy 160 plus were the worst in that the spring is serious metal.
Maybe I'm just getting older. But it won't be much fun with a frozen marten in them regardless of age.
