O.K. I've got borax. Now ,EXACTLY, what do I do with it?
(No point being ignorant unless you can show it off once in a while. ;D)

Musher I rub a handful around the ears, nose, and eyes on my canines. Sometimes I'll even rub some on the pelt if I have to turn it a little early.

You can also use it to dry wash pelts, put plenty on and work gently with a stiffer nylon brush.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm thinking of it as a "lynx belly brightener." How would I go about that?

I just put a bunch on a cardboard box and put the dried pelt in it and work the borax around through the fur thoroughly then shake it out and finally use an air compressor to blow the last of it out.
If you have access to a drum use it in there. There is a formula of some kind of solvent, borax, and corncob grit that furbuyers use.
