Do you find that snare locks with a punched-out tang (like a slim lock) tangle more in the fur and cause damage?

I've used them some. I can't say I've noticed more tangling than with the mini-lock. Maybe I will pay more attention. I find if a cable end has frayed wires it can catch in fur quite bad.
I will say they do seem to lock down real tight.
