Here's a couple of your buddies Tracy and their intended prey. Both pics at a spring about 50 mile North of my house. I don't give those bucks much chance at living much longer.

Cool. When do we go?
Looks kind of like a female with that narrow head, huh?

I can see what looks like a hind foot of another lion. My night vision isn't very good. ;D
My dogs work dry ground pretty well. Ought to be cool enough that if a guy hit a track at daylight, he could get a good run on it. Just do like they do in Africa and hang us some fresh bait . . . .

Well shoot a burro on the way up. These pics were taken by a guy with an archery deer tag a month ago. I'm sure the lions are around close. I bet they just wait at the spring and kill everything that comes to water.
Yeah that looks like the foot of a Tomcat to me.

Shoot "a" burro? What good would shooting just one of the bloody things do? That's like eating one M & M, or one Lays Potato Chip. Just not possible. ;D I'm joking, of course, before the hate mail starts rolling in.
Is that spring between me and you, or up on the other side of you? And how does your friend keep his camera from getting stolen? Grrrrrrrrrr

The spring is North of Lovelock. It's a hump from your house.
I'm sure we can find lions a lot closer. Do you want to meet down South before trapping season?
I'm going deer hunting with a friend early Oct. may be able do come down late Oct.

Late October would be great. My 15 year old son and I have area 16 deer tags. I should get him punched out on the opener, and then I'll go back the second week and stay for 4-5 days, but after that, I'd love to meet you down there. You say when.
