Yup,
Been looking for the "magic" in the bottle for a ong time. Want to use it in "secret canyon" where cats are under every tree.

Liked your shop better when you had to trip your way through. What ever posessed you to clean it up? It just ain't right to have a shop you can actually work in. Just kidding. Where do you get the quiver?

Bill these guys have to know that your kidding about my garage. Neat and tidy I always say.
Wait till you see my new one. The fellow that backed out on the house deal called me yesterday and reconsidered.
It's got about a 40x40 steel building insulated with a big space heater. Spare one bedroom house built on to the shop. You and Pete can have your own digs when you come to visit.
Need to get some more cars and rv's, boats etc. I guess.

Joel, I always figured you for one of those guys that caught so many cats you wouldn't bother carrying a badger back to the truck. Nice looking badgers though. Should get at least 50 bucks out of them.
Do you get that thing from Gene himself?

I've found a few of those "secret" canyons over the years, where from the top it looked like there were cats under every tree and behind every rock.
Seems by the time I hiked a mile down into the canyon to set up, the cat population had declined dramatically.

Gunny, I know exactly what you mean, but I must be a slower learner because those canyons usually take about 3 checks of nothing and a couple of snowfalls with no tracks for me to admit they aren't as good as I first thought.

Jwarren, have you ever wished you wieghed 110# and could fly/hover through those canyons carrying 50# of gear?
I mixed up some magic in a bottle this year. Formula was supposed to be irresistible to cats.
Burned up my ancient blender. Mixed in a special expander chemical. Poured it into 4 oz. jars and ate lunch. After lunch, the jars had blown up. Mixed up some more an set it outside. The darn dog ate it and chewed the jars to pieces.
Man, after all that, I thought to myself; "this stuff is really going to work"
Caught 20 cats in two weeks. And not a single one on the mojo potion.
I was trapping with Bob in KS. last week and we were discussing cat lures. I told him that I mixed up the synthetic version and he said the synthetic version actually repelled cats!

JWarren,
I got the quiver from Gene.
I wish I caught that many cats.
Actually those badgers are from last year and this year. They are some dandy's. I left plenty of lesser quality out there to screw a trap up another day.
Had a guy offer me $50 frozen last year and he never came through so I stretched them this year during the floods.
I may just get them tanned, I'd have to have $50 or more for the time I have in them.

Joel,
It's not allowed to fill a shed with toys, ya gotta fill it with cats. 40 x40's going take a little time.
I found an area padded down with cat tracks once, like coyote tracks used to be. Set traps and it snowed a foot the next day. About wrecked the truck to get there on check day. Never saw another track, didn't catch any either. I think those cats had wings.
