First of all- I know there are many newer trappers here- and as some have emailed, they are reluctant to post.
Rest assured that the seasoned trappers here are more than willing to help you out with your questions-
so if you are having problems on the line, or problems with equipment- or simply don't know the terms we use like "flat sets", "slide wire", "patterns"- whatever....
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK. I assure you and promise you- you will be made to feel welcome and your questions WILL be answewred. If you ask something we don't know- well, as the ad says "I've got people" and I'll take it upon myself to find the answer.
Already in the first 2 days, the membrship list holds a bunch of experienced trappers ready to help YOU become a successful trapper.
Its a cliche- but cliches are based on truth- that there are no stupid questions.
Grow with us.....trappnman

That is reassuring. Not new to trapping but definitely new to coyotes. To watch this crew of big dog pros assembling on this sight can be intimidating. Once the scat hits the fan, this will surely be book material. Looking forward to reading. Thanks, polecat

What Steve has done here is to get all the best from across the different boards. Most of these guys have been proven helpers on other sites, always giving away their hard earned knowledge to us that are less informed. To have all of this experience in one place that is dedicated to " education " ( sorry Steve had to do it ) is something we can all be thankful for.

Just watch me be real stupid when it comes to coyotes.......havent done it, not familiar with it , etc....no question is stupid and if a moderator can look dumb with all the experience I have , any newbie with a question will look like Einstein in comparison....
