There are a lot of happy Manitoba trappers that have coyotes. Our range 70% western 30% easterns and those averaged 120$ for most guys that started after 10 November. there is a lot going into May sales now

I'll find out what my coyotes did there next time I talk to my buyer- he sent my coyotes to this sale. Not sure if all, or just the top half.
Not many skins offered, so that should help keep the market stabilized for now. Keep waiting for that other shoe.....

The Italian buyer complained when coyotes went to 100 $ but they are still in the market and buying and adjusting their line. Since then several others have got into the playing field. Guess I see this trend when going to the University and seeing all the foreign students with trim on their jackets. Nephew has a business buying used CC jackets in the spring as these students go home after 4 years to warmer climates, then selling online come the next fall. He is making more $ with that than my trapping.....the skin game with a another twist.
