hope you have a good convention!
I never understood a national convention in the middle of June- its just not the season.
think how big it would be if held with the WI in sept

I know, I know- I used to argue the point with them- but ran into a brick wall with the old "always been in june, world would end if we changed it"

June is better than late July early August. September and early October would be preferable to me

I don't like hot weather. When it cools down I can go forever but when it is hot 10-12 hrs. I am tapped out. It should be fun have not be to Marshfield for a few years. I need to get away from home for a while. Tired of putting things in a jar and bottle and making more stuff.

Glad it was a good convention, We were south of 90 sat night and it stormed terribly. Fields flooded and ditches full. River is up quite a bit- everytime it starts down- up it goes again.

Yup it got real hot and that hurt our numbers considerably. I got there Tuesday AM and set up the demo site where they determined we should be. We were well off the main traffic area but we seemed to hold numbers quite well even with the lowered gate. Thanks to those giving demos and attending. The FTA is taking a real strong initiative with the FFA and bringing trapping and wildlife management into the classrooms nationwide. Did not get to see much of the convention as was in the demo area almost all of the three days. I did not realize that by noon Saturday many vendors were packing or packed up already.
