Politicians running for president are graded by Politfact and the order runs in the way you would expect it to if you find yourself annoyed when Donald Trump is speaking. Donald Trump, the Republican front-runner, is at the bottom of the list with a sad 9% of true or mostly true statements. Just 9% of the things Donald Trump says are mostly related to the truth.
Trump lies so much that in 2015, Politifact awarded him the Lie of the Year for numerous statements he made, because the team couldn’t pick the most egregious lie. Out of 77 statements checked, 76 of them were found to be mostly false to false to pants on fire lies.
Kasich is tied with Senator Bernie Sanders, the Democratic Socialist, who is a fierce advocate of a government that works for the people, who also scores 51% of true and mostly true statements. I point out his ideology because the right has been taught scary things about Sanders, yet here he is at the top of the truth pile. Something to think about.
At the top, with a 52% true or mostly true rating is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,

LMAO. Sanders a fierce advocate of socialism . When did they start to galley Hillarys remarks ? Could not have been in the last. 2 years no way. That or even when she has lied and lied on the same issues over and over again they count that as one lie?

I can lead a horse to water, but I can't make him think.
what does being a socialist have to do with lies?
I mean, you aren't a socialist.......

My words where not about his lying or not, but I love how who ever wrote these words, used the term fierce advocate of govt that works for people, translation super socialist. Was my point.
Again Hillary at 52 percent I find that a stretch, but funny how you us polifact as your source, when I have used them you said you had no time for bias right information LOL.

A synopsis about how many lies a politician tells? 52% truth is a good score? The entire concept is ludicrous.
If I were a boss and my employee lied to me I would fire him. When it comes to politicians, the "people" are the boss.
The Canadian press says that Hillary is slipping in the polls and it is neck and neck. That means that half of the U.S. wants to do some firing.

She is slipping and the debates should be very interesting I too am not into lying but has been a part of politics for many years sadly.
Yes I agree a sa d day when someone post information that she only lies 48 percent of the time, or trump lies 56 percent of the time. But hey we live in a grey world and that is the way some like it. Black and white is too harsh I guess?

I'll agree, and I don't think that I'm alone, the US public would like to clean house!
On one of the other threads, someone called Trump a "racist". I just read a thing today, Obama said he'd be offended if Hillary didn't get the black vote. Now someone explain what is racist and what isn't!
My opinion, he's doing his best to divide our country. And that is from the so called President we have today.
We're just tired of the same old crap.

no- Trump lies 92% of the time its not the same as 48% both are deplorable- but 9 out of 10 woirds coming out of Trumps mouth, are lies ---------------------------------------------------- redsnow- I think the difference is hate
and I concur with Obama- if the black population doesn't denounce 5 years of Trump leading the birther movement, he would be offended. I'll be offended as well
oh what fun to watch his surrogates today squirm

to be real honest redsnow- when Bernie dropped out- took the spirit out of me.
I'm not a Hillary fan per se- but I think she will follow the dem platform, which, as a proud gun touting liberal, I endorse
I fear Trump would follow the rep- and that is, IMO, too reactionary for me
What I would think you would ask yourself is can Trump be trusted, to do anything he says? yes, politicians change on issues, but on like the 10 issues- hes had 180 views on both sides over the past 5 years
Lets hope this redsnow- whoever wins, lets hope they aren't the disaster we think each will be, from our perspective views

whoever wins, lets hope they aren't the disaster we think each will be, from our perspective views I'm with you there! A propos the lying: When someone lies 92% of the time, you know they are not telling the truth whenever their mouth is open. But when they lie half the time , you don't know when to believe them!

I agree with what Brian said about someone lying to the Boss.
Lie to me one time, you might keep you're job?, but you're going to be on VERY thin ice! If someone lies to me again, you're gone!
Hillary has lied to the Boss more than 2 times. She's toast!
I really think that some of you need to sit down and objectively look at Trump. Listen to what he has to say. I've said this before, Trump is in this deal to win.
One thing that I put a good bit of confidence in, is his endorsement by the big Police Officer's Union. I think in the coming weeks, you're going to see the major newspapers support Trump.
Speaking as one of the Bosses, Hillary has had her chance, she has failed. It's time to give someone else a fair shake.
But I seriously think that if you'd listen to Trump. . .

I HAVE looked at Trump- I truly think, by his words and actions, that he has proven himself to be a deplorable person. his actions over his life prove that beyond doubt- and if you like- I'll go point by point starting with his hiring of illegal workers, his affairs, his scam universitys, his conviction on labeling black or Hispanic renter applications with a "C" for colored and then not renting to them, his foundation fraud he paid a fine for, his racist words in this election, his words about women and MOCKING for f**k**g sakes MOCKING a handicapped person- he did that in front of ME ,and his ass would be on the ground that's outrageous and unforgiveable- and I've never spoken of any woman anywhere like he does- pigs and hogs and look better on their knees and if they ask tuff questions- why, they must be bleeding from...somewhere. Trump is a pig. no other words for it. and oh yeah- John McCain is a loser- for being a POW- and Trump had 5 deferments to get out of VN- notice him limping on those bone spurs- the ones where he now cannot remember in which foot? ?? Good God- I'd curl up and die if I had to look any deeper into Trump

I agree that he's said some stupid things, just like Hillary. Calling Trump supporters "deplorable's", etc.
That cost her some respect, which she didn't have much to start with.
For me, it boils down to this, Hillary has had her chance, she let me down! I'm not willing to give her another chance to do me wrong again!

You may laugh at that but I was 18-22 during those main war years and yes there was a waiting list of over 5,000 for the national guard in the Madison, WI unit in 1969 and I know the bulk of those that were in the unit were from families with enough money, power and authority to get their sons in there and the most of those for sure were not liberal Democrats. Several of those men in my college classes that were agriculture were sons of farmers and many got deferments and not many liberal Democrats owned farms, or a cheese factory, or a farm implement etc. Don't get me wrong I know and like many of these men but your thoughts on a bunch of draft card burners being the bulk of the draft dodgers shows your ignorance or deliberate denial of what really took place.

"I'll agree, and I don't think that I'm alone, the US public would like to clean house!"
I don't think that is really true. The president's approval rate is currently 58%,the highest it's been in years. Wouldn't ya think with Obamacare seemingly being so unpopular and if the economy was really as bad as the conservatives say it is, that Obama's rating would be down in the dumps?
People carp and complain about the government all the time, congress has an approval rating of 13%, that means 87% of the voters don't like any of them. But, when it comes to voting out their own long term representative or senator, they don't seem to actually do it. If people were really that unsatisfied, they'd vote them all out and get a new crop in. Talk is cheap, but produces no real action at the polls.
Cheers, Pam

"For me, it boils down to this, Hillary has had her chance, she let me down! I'm not willing to give her another chance to do me wrong again! "
Oh boo hoo, what chance have you given Hillary and what has she ever done that harmed you in any way? She was a darn good, well respected, first lady, Senator, and Secretary of State, now all of a sudden after being continually hammered on and lied about by conservative politicians, she's a disappointment?
"After four years and nearly a million miles logged as America’s top diplomat, she stepped down to a torrent of praise. “The most consequential secretary of state since Dean Acheson,” enthused Google’s Eric Schmidt. “Stellar,” pronounced Bloomberg’s Margaret Carlson. Even Republican Sen. John McCain, while criticizing her response to the killing of U.S. officials in Benghazi, went out of his way to compliment her “ outstanding” State Department tenure.
She's been voted the most admired woman in the WORLD 18 years in a row for god's sake.
And, there's total egotistical bigoted loose cannon who says he would date his own daughter if he could, running against her who has never done anything that he didn't personally profit from in his life. And instead of expressing concern about the 29 victims of the bombing in NYC this weekend, all he could do is gloat. "Trump took a measure of credit for saying quickly Saturday night that a bomb had gone off in New York even as officials were still investigating the explosion. “I should be a newscaster because I called it before the news,” he said.
Someone should clue him in that newscasters don't make or predict the news, they are supposed to report the facts as they are known.
If that is the kind of person people want to be President, so be it, but as for me, the candidate with the knowledge, experience, and temperament to be the next President is Hillary Clinton.
Cheers, Pam

Pam, run back up and read Brian's post on the 18th @1:12.

There is no doubt that Hillary committed perjury. And that's strike 3.
Hillary is not above the law.

Pam your bolstering of Hillary is really not impressive at all. Reporters are supposed to report the news, when has the main stream media done such in the last 10-15 years? We have Hillary and CNN, they doctored her words after the NY city bombings , yes that is correct took out her own words of calling them bombings so she could then chastise Trump for calling them bombings LMAO, the main stream media one that used to love to talk with Trump and have them on their shows, now bashed him every chance they get and dodo totes Hillarys words to make it seem she comes off better?
Sorry I do not call that reporting the news in a factual way.
