Should be easy to find millions of persons to work if they want to invest in more workers. It may not be the best way to earn a living but many just find a couple of jobs and with the current employer controlled environment many workers prefer to work 2-3 places with similar hours they can always quit the crap job or being treated like trash. With full bennies and salaries both workers and owners have more vested in the game and that may be a better system but if firms don't want that it won't be that way. Doors swing both ways on most issues. I am teaching again and my age group is about 23-25 and they just don't take crap from any firm. They don't get what the need or want they just move to the next place. Many are good workers and capable but they sure don't feel they owe a firm anything, as they have seen over and over again what their parents have gone through in mid life with being walked out the doors with security guards etc. etc.

what facts? the facts on the state of WI before Walker, and with Walker. In other words- the economy of the state, is doing worse than before he arrived.
Contrast that with the state of the economy pre Obama, and today.
in a game of puppetiering, Walker's got more strings attached to him than all the others combined- and all held by 2 men.
Walker is gone, and good riddance

Does my heart good to see all the money the Koch Brothers donated to Walker go down the drain.

Just as I predicted, he did self-destruct. I wonder how much of the Koch Bros money got wasted on that fiasco. The bad part is that now he will be back spending his time in WI and can do a lot more damage before he exits. We had a WI Supreme Court Judge pass away today and Walker will be able to appoint another right winger. My other prediction is that Trump will never complete the campaign either. We'll see :-) Cheers, Pam I share in your second prediction, Pam, but before you pat yourself on the back, aren't you the one who predicted that Hillary wouldn't run? Jim

Like it our not it is that type of ego that chooses to take on the tasks of not only the job but the unrelenting negative pushback that can stomach the run. There are many worthy candidates or potential political leaders that just can't or won't stomach the constant berating and beating and thus the pool of willing candidates shrinks as our population grows and our issues become more intense, political and costly. We have a private sector media system that really creates a very limited pool of political leaders and maybe that is by design. Why would these media sources promote a non-divisive candidate that would choose to govern from the center, compromise to be able to move forward and create little news for them to sell.

RDFX sorry but many liberals are just that (brain dead) if she runs they will vote for her as they would soon see her versus anyone else. LOL.
To think this woman would have any ability to run our country well is just false. She would. It be someone to take our country forward and our foreign relations and military would be at a grave disservice.

I thought Hillary might not run, but I am certainly happy that she is! I love Bernie Sanders, but I really feel at 75 in 2016 he is just too old. Hillary will be 69 and everyone knows women age better than men LOL Think what you will TC39, but IMHO there is no one with more experience and more qualified to run than Hillary. All this tempest in a Tea Party teapot over Benghazi and emails is just a diversion because they have nothing with any real substance bad to say about her 8 years in the Senate and 4 as Secretary of State. The Repubs are so splintered and have such a bunch of out of touch with the public candidates that I don't think they have a prayer of winning against a Dem. Good grief they can't even find anyone who wants to be Speaker of the House they've made such a mess.

"Good grief they can't even find anyone who wants to be Speaker of the House they've made such a mess."
Isn't that hilarious? Usually half of Congress is fighting for that position.
Hillary did better than I expected in the debate, but I am not among her fans.

Paul Ryan LOL. Not Hilliary and no one wants speaker of the house because they would have to work with the wacko Nancy Pelosi and could be bad for any future political career. name the last president who was speaker of the house?

..."they would have to work with the wacko Nancy Pelosi ..."
LOL They have way bigger problems within their own party than with the Dems.
If you want to wait 9 or 10 years Ryan probably will be back as a candidate.
I dunno James, 21 candidates for President and you don't like any of them?

Who am I supposed to like?
The Dems are all pro-gun control. Poor Bernie was dumfounded when Hillary accused him of being pro gun.
The Reps all act like infants anymore. What a dysfunctional bunch. Perhaps I'll vote third party, Libertarian maybe.

Maybe its time a 3rd party gets in and shakes up the Dems and Reps. The Dems and Reps spend so much time and money to keep the third partys down and their own interests AND POCKETS instead of working for the American people !

Jim that is why we can't have a dem back as president well and other reasons, but the 2nd amendment is the next BIG puzzle piece for the dems, they got AHC and now onto gun control and they see that as a real win for their side. Dangerous for sure.
If we want the gun companies and reloading companies to make millions and millions more in a short period we need the dems to keep talking gun control and elect me and we will take away gun rights. LOL.

liberals are brain dead? then that means conservatives must be idiots and retarded to consider a duffus like trump OR carson- I can insult people all day if that's the way this is going to go- no one wants speaker because they KNOW its political suicide to try to deal with the house "republicans" and now we have THREE republican house members saying what we all knew- that the Bengazi investigation had ne purpose, and one purpose only pro gun control? by repeating the VERY THINGS THE NRA PROPOSED YEARS AGO, BUT NOW ARE AGAINST? ?? too silly IMO Bernie is 100% right on with his assessments of banks and wealth- biggest factor in the election is 2-3 SC nominees- you want more that think citizens United is RIGHT? not me

We need someone who can run the country period. these last 4 years have been a dismal disappointment really. AHC was supposed to drive down cost, make things better for all sectors, in fact we end up with a law that stifles jobs and cost continue to rise.
The economy is still not great, housing starts still way off, the federal govt wants to enact things on schools for better educational standards but then does not want to fund them.
Hoping we get a much better leader and mind in the whitehouse in 2016 time will tell.

TC, when Obama hands over to his successor an economy that was in the shape Bush left him, then you can complain how bad things are going.

Why would Ryan give up head of Ways and Means with a large GOP majority, a lame duck president and a chance for a GOP executive in a year or more. I can't believe people when they don't know where the power lies. Blame Pelosi on the ills of the GOP, my God she is almost a non issue at this time. The Dems are in a real leadership void and the general consensus in the country is to lean quite hard to the right and these GOP candidates with all their money and their 529 supporters can't get off the ground.
As large as the 2nd amendment is to many I can not believe we need to spend all this time and angst about the 2nd amendment with all the other looming issues we have domestically and internationally. Our nation will never ever give up strong gun rights even with moderate to liberal leadership so all this hoopla about guns is really the Dems trying to find some traction and the GOP not wanting to get serious about foreign affairs, immigration, addressing major cuts in programs including defense or talking about huge investments in needed government infrastructure. They are stuck now with most being about lowering taxes when all evidence points to huge needs in infrastructure nationwide. With low growth rates the only way to find infrastructure funds is to tax for them or take them from large areas of government like defense and human services. Have not heard on GOP candidate roll out a plan for reducing our national debt and these are the smart guys by some people's assessments! Liberals are not stupid they think differently than conservatives, not better or worse just differently and we have been able to benefit as a nation and society with a good blend of both.
