No, I didn't have much time to scout this summer. There are a few areas I know that some bigger bucks hang out in. I believe that some of them are nocturnal all summer. Just took advantage of the rain to hunt an area I normally wouldn't. Caught a big wide buck and another typical 4x4 up snacking, but they were too fast for me. In retrospect, I am glad. This is the better buck of the three.

Yes a drizzle or light steady rain, or a light snowfall. Next best is enough wind to cover sound and make it hard for them to place where you are if they do wind you.
