In the end, there was only one left standing.

Yup the Big 10 was bashed all year for being a down and out conference, so all the talking heads still get paid but their words are pretty hollow. They are now like weatherman they can be wrong half the time or more and still keep their jobs. Some coaches won't I am sure. Big boosters get upset when teams that are two td underdogs whip their teams.

I enjoyed the end of this college football season more than any other. Ohio State's last run of three games, where they were underdogs against Wisconsin, Alabama, and Oregon, was a classic.
I'm an OSU alumnus--twice over (BA and JD). Son of two OSU alumni. Brothers who are all alumni, and extended family who are mostly alums.
What's your team, Bryce?

I am a UW Madison alumni and yes a Badger fan but I like baseball, hockey and track more than football. In fact watching women's college level volleyball is very interesting to me as well. Ohio State will make it rough in the Big 10 next year in football that is for sure.

I think TCU would have been a better opponent than Oregon.

Yeah, it's too bad TCU couldn't have fit in the picture somehow, but I can't say I'm unhappy with how things turned out. Ohio State was on a tear. Everything was clicking for them, except for all the fumbling against Alabama and Oregon. I think they could have taken TCU.
If they expand the college play-offs, someone is always going to be complaining they were unfairly left out.
It was kind of weird that TCU went from No. 3 to No. 5 almost overnight, but the committee must have been impressed by OSU's beating Wisconsin 59-0.
