Neighbors had a big loud party next door. Turned out to be a brawl that made the news. We're going to have to move. Neighborhood is being taken over by white trash. Witnesses, APD confirm Palin family was present at Anchorage party that turned violent Laurel Andrews September 11, 2014 Share on emailEmail Print Text Size-A+A Police are investigating a brawl that took place in South Anchorage over the weekend involving around 20 people. A witness said it happened during a joint birthday party thrown in part for Todd Palin. The Anchorage Police Department said a “verbal and physical altercation” took place late Saturday night between multiple people outside a South Anchorage home in the 900 block of Harbor Circle, in the Oceanview neighborhood. RELATED: Florida man arrested for stalking Bristol Palin Roughly 20 people were involved in the fight, said police spokesperson Jennifer Castro. “A preliminary investigation by police revealed that a party had been taking place at a nearby residence and a fight had broken out between multiple subjects outside of the residence,” Castro wrote. “None of the involved parties wanted to press charges at the time of the incident and no arrests were made at the scene. Alcohol was believed to have been a factor in the incident. Some of the Palin family members were in attendance at the party.” Castro would not provide a written police report of the incident from officers, saying the case is still open. “We are still reviewing the case, along with our municipal attorney’s office to determine whether any charges will be filed,” Castro wrote in an email. Blogger Amanda Coyne reported Wednesday that the Palins were at the center of the fight. Coyne cites anonymous sources who described a shirtless Track Palin, Bristol Palin throwing punches and former Gov. Sarah Palin screaming during the melee. The reports have been widely re-circulated on national sites, including Wonkette and Gawker. Neighbor Charles Fryer attended the party, which he described as a joint birthday party for four people, including Todd Palin. He said Sarah Palin was at the party. Fryer said the party was “basically peaceable” until the fight occurred around 11 p.m. He heard commotion in front of the house and stepped outside to check it out. He described the fight as a dog pile “just like you see in a football game.” Fryer didn’t know who was involved. “I’m too old to fool with that stuff,” he said. On her Facebook page, Sarah Palin posted that she was traveling on Saturday. One commenter, Kimberley Vranckaert-Trujillo, claimed to be a witness to the incident, writing in the post thread: “Interesting. ... pretty sure you were not traveling and you and family were on the Southside causing chaos. Saw it happen. Don't fib.” The comment has since been removed. The Palin family could not be reached for comment. This is the second time the Palins have hit the news this week. On Sunday, a 25-year-old man was arrested on felony stalking charges after showing up in Bristol Palin’s Wasilla driveway. www.adn.com/article/20140911/witn...-turned-violent

P.S. - I didn't get to see the Palins in action, just heard a lot of shouting and saw a bunch of people milling around out in the circle.

You should have run out with your IPhone and videoed it. You could have made a fortune from Fox News......well maybe not Fox news lol
I think it's a riot, apparently the Tea Party does know how to party hardy. LOL
Didn't she campaign on abstinence, from sex and alcohol? Guess that hasn't worked out too well for the Palin Family.

Bryce don't under estimate the TEA party movement I feel in the next 8 years they will make a big impact in elections specially if we stay status quo with elections and congress remains do nothing............
Through history everyone made fun of the third wheel party yet at this time it is far different in our country. The TEA party will be around for awhile as public sentiment starts a backlash on both Super parties for lack of progress..............

Taxes is becoming less of an issue every day as the economy grows and there are other aspects of our economy, culture etc. that need to be addressed. The TEA Party needs to find a larger issue than taxes as it has been shown repeatedly that all the tax cuts since 2001 have not created any real sustainable economic growth, more jobs or more production etc. The party has been pandering to those who want to impact immigration, abortion and interject religion into many areas and that is meeting up with more resistance then I am sure they felt would happen. They have the weakest administration as opposition and they still stumble and make huge PR and policy errors. They need to find a new and much younger base if they want some long term real political influence. The nation will get real tired of deadlocked politics as your strong suit. You may be correct that if the palin's were not there we would not know about the situation, but the real fact remains they were the ones telling us how we should behave and live and what we should value and they got caught being Palins and doing what Palin's do and that is what they want to do and hold others to different standards. "Don't you know who I am" says it all

Excuse me TC, but our neighborhood is not the customary place for loud parties and street brawls. My wife and I listened to all the screaming and nearly called the cops ourselves. Sounded like someone was killing cats out there for a while.
Only reason I didn't call the cops was it would have seemed unneighborly.

If it were anyone but the Palins involved someone would very likely have been arrested for disorderly conduct. I wonder if Sarah will mention anything about it on her newsy online channel? Naa, too embarrassing that her daughter has a great right hook and her husband a bloody nose. Not to mention apparently nobody did know who she was lol
I seriously doubt the Tea Party with it's anti abortion, anti gay, anti tax, anti union, anti health care, anti public education and religious zealousness will ever come to serious power. Instead of being a third party they've just caused untold dissention within the Republican Party. They are just too out of touch with public sentiment. If they ever do go third party (which I'd like to see) and run against Republicans, the Dems will have a field day.
My 2 cents,
Pam

Pam could or could not be in the case, the point is how would you or I have known about it . We wouldn't know about it as it would go unreported unless your sitting next to a scanner maybe . Upscale neighborhoods don't like noise nothing new there. The reason I live in the country make as much noise as I want Pam many smaller towns get calls like these and many get settled without arrest All depends on the situation and severity of what takes place. Really a silly deal if we are all, worried what some make shift celebs are up to IMO of course. James labeling people as white trash? WOW...................

one just has to be amused over the hypocrisy of it all.......... heck TC- we have an eyewitness- small world ain't it... to me the point is why are people always telling us do what they say, not what they do? Its awful dangerous to ride a high horse all the time- ----------- the Tea Party is on the way out- you can see it in the primaries this year, and you can bet we will see their influence fade even more- while they might have gotten elected on a "do nothing" program, the reality is that we want our elected officials to do something, not nothing. we have a tea party guy running for reelection- be interesting to see if he wins, because the opponents ads are based on his remarks concerning the economy vs the reality of 20,000 lost jobs in Mn (albeit many temporary), and several million out of Mn's economy due to the shutdown that he voted for. and the last words of the ads- "and he continued to collect his paycheck" really drives it home Franklin is running against a tea party guy- and his opponent (McFadden) is running a negative campaign- which posts many false things as pointed out by every TV stations fact checking crews as false- and as such, he is behind Franklin by 8-9% as Pam pointed out- a party based on being anti everything, soon fades away

More details emerge in fight that witnesses say involved Palin family Laurel Andrews September 12, 2014 Share on emailEmail Print Text Size-A+A As police continue investigations into a fight that broke out Saturday at a South Anchorage home, more details have emerged from a man who said he witnessed the brawl. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who some say was involved, remains silent on the issue.
Eric Thompson spoke with ABC's "Good Morning America" on Friday. He was among the 70 guests at the birthday party, he said, where he watched the fight unfold.
RELATED: Witnesses, APD confirm Palin family was present at Anchorage party that turned violent After the interview, a report surfaced that Thompson, an employee of McKenna Bros. Paving, had been fired for speaking to the media. The party had been held in part for company owners Marc and Matthew McKenna, party guest Charles Fryer said Thursday.
Thompson had spoken to several media outlets regarding the party, including blogger Amanda Coyne, who wrote that the Palin family had arrived at the party in a stretch Hummer limousine.
Citing anonymous sources, Coyne claimed the fight began when Track Palin confronted his younger sister Willow’s former boyfriend, Conner Cleary. A fight broke out and Cleary’s father tried to break it up, she wrote. Todd Palin jumped into the fight and began choking the father.
Host Korey Klingenmeyer then told the family to leave the party, Thompson told Coyne. That’s when Bristol Palin hit the host, Thompson said.
“Bristol just reached back and started clocking him,” Thompson told "Good Morning America," saying the eldest Palin daughter struck Klingenmeyer at least six times.
“I was thoroughly amazed at the restraint Korey showed. He’s a total (gentleman),” Thompson told Coyne.
The altercation between partygoers escalated again, Coyne reported.
Fryer said Thursday he heard the commotion and went outside to see what was going on. He described the fight as a dogpile, “just like you see in a football game.”
Thompson told "Good Morning America," “I heard Sarah Palin scream out, ‘You know who we are, don’t you?’ It was like we were just on a Jerry Springer episode.”
Anchorage Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Castro wrote that roughly 20 people were involved in the brawl. She confirmed that the Palins were present at the party. Several police officers responded to the incident. Investigations were ongoing on Friday and would take at least a week to conclude, she wrote.
After Thompson’s interviews, senior producer for "Entertainment Tonight" Elizabeth Applegate tweeted that Thompson told her he had been fired from his job because of the interview with ABC News.
Thompson had retained legal counsel on Friday. Attorney Kevin Fitzgerald said he “can’t confirm or deny” that Thompson was fired from his position at McKenna Bros. Paving.
The owners of McKenna Bros. Paving could not be reached for comment Friday afternoon.
Sarah Palin could not be reached for comment Friday. She has not addressed the incident publicly, although she made a public appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Thursday as reports of the fight circulated and had posted to the Sarah Palin Channel on Friday morning.

Its awful dangerous to ride a high horse all the time- Yes I agree but that is what politicians do they feel they are above and beyond the average citizen in many cases, I could list a pile of those from either side again no one has a lock on that Our president and many members of congress do it all the time........... If people want to worry about what the palins are doing at a party so be it, I could really care less who or what in a spat at some party............... No one injured or murdered so I will move on while the news spends resources on such a story.

So his people didn't know or he didn't know what effect gitmo would have in politics? Interesting.......
he also stated a clear and open government which has been anything but close to his promise, not on military matters but all others........
We will agree to disagree I guess. History will show his effectiveness or lack their of.

I am not either you call him a role model others see him as someone who said he would do X,Y,and Z and clearly he did not in the name of politics. No passes for any of them........
he went I from of the American people for a reason on the ISIS issues correct? Was it to be clear, open and honest or looking for a reprieve on statements he made earlier in the prices of becoming and being POTUS?
