It's a rare occurrence in the East, but on this morning we got to enjoy a "textbook hunt." One that is effortless. One where everything falls into place, everything works. The coyotes do their part. They come into the call, and they go down after the shot! The type of hunt which always makes you think, "why doesn't it happen every time like this?"

Almost too easy!
I know zip about howling, but I thought the mouth call was way better than the call.
Why do you think the yote ignored the decoy? Did it want a sniff before committing?
