4 coons, 2 gray fox and 9 Dungeness crabs. I set 9 cage traps on the drive to the boat launch up the coast to set a couple crab pots yesterday and that was the todays haul. Not bad. I rebaited the crab pots with a half a coon each so we'll see how that works. ;D

FWS, do greys go into cage traps pretty easily? It's something I'd like to try in locations that have alot of rabbit and coon hunters.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with the way I set the cages. I pretty much bury them in the brush so the entrance is the only way to investigate my bad ass super lure and high tech visuals.
It's pretty much just a cubby and the trap dimension is 10 or 12 w x18 h (depending on which version of my "custom built" cages I'm using) by 36 deep, the cage bottom has sifted dirt and I use sticks and rocks to guide them to the pan.
And coon works fine for crab bait, bout' as well as road killed house cat. ;D
