I'm surprised at how rational Ted sounds here.

Ted Nugent is a has been, he made mediocre music at best, over 2 decades ago. If he wrote ANY of this letter I'd be astounded. My feeling is that someone wrote it for him. He talks a big talk but he's no wordsmith like was written here. This was written FOR him, probably by some NRA writer. Whatever the case may be and I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with "him" on every point. Although, due to the nature of our government failing us at every conceivable juncture, I have absolutely no faith that our government will do the prudent and correct- non-politically motivated action....EVER. Not just this case.
James...have you EVER heard ted sound rational? I didn't think so. He's as rational as Chuck Norris and trophy wife, Trump, Beck, Limbarf, Coulter, Hannity and all the rest of the righttards.

Excellent letter, much more persuasive than his usual rant.
I did note one sentence that might cause Ted to be a little introspective, LOL. That was the one about being on the lookout for potentially psychotic and dangerous individuals.

Actually, I think Ted and his music is outstanding. you can say anything you want abotu him, but the man can play a gee-tar
one year in sturgis at the Civic center, stuff was gooing on, and there was this 3 piece band jamming on stage- an indian girl opn drums, and 2 guitarists-
holy moly could that guy play- it frankly was awesome and the crowd was maybe 50 and Lori & I were the only ones to stand and really cheer and the guy turns to us and says- at least someone likes my music.
later in camp I was relating story and a buddy says- don't you know who that was? I said no and he said it was Ted- he was there for a main event and was just having fun in the sun-
ps- lets keep the insults and namecalling to a minimum approaching never- the issues can speak for themselves and all in all I'm quite happy with the tone of the debates here- but politics as politics, is still best left alone. fine line, but so far we are walking it

1972 Ted has made a good living off his music and is also a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment and at times he does go over the top, but he also is an educated person I have spoken with him in person in the early 90's he used to spend alot of time in SD. He is smarter than most think and at times his shock jock attitude works and at times it does not.
Think what you will, but I can see him writing exactly what was written, but your blinded by your affiliations to see the truth in what he wrote.

I agree with James and Larry on this one, to the point where I wondered if Nugent actually wrote it.
"In April, while speaking at a National Rifle Association convention, Nugent said there are two alternatives for him if the "vile," "evil" and "America-hating" Obama beat Romney. "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year," said Nugent, who has also defended Romney's "47 percent" comment. "
"Four years earlier, he threatened both Obama and 2008 competitor, Hillary Clinton. While dressed in camouflage hunting gear and wielding two machine guns during a 2007 concert, Nugent raged: "Obama, he's a piece of sh-t. I told him to suck on my machine gun." Continuing, "Hey Hillary. You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless b-tch."
"Pimps whores & welfare brats & their soulless supporters hav a president to destroy America."
It's a free country, but Nugent crosses the line too often to be considered anywhere near 100% rational and/or stable in my book.
Cheers, Pam

If you have ever read any of Teds writings you would know its ted al the way. However you put a mic. in his had or a camera on him the actor comes out. JUst as some act behind a computer, verses in person. I have met him on several occasions and my wife a few more and he is as just as normal as anyone else until you get him riled up about somthing he is as passionet about as the 2nd admendment.
