Nobody but you will notice, the loss of your business in the real estate market will be absorbed by someone else, probably an attractive Latina whom people will like better than a grumpy old white dude. Besides which it's probably time you retired anyways. Get yourself a VW van, paint it up really psychedelic like and hit the road dude so you can protest 'The Man'.

Actually you are pretty much right on. Problem is grumpy old men can and will bite you if you fk with em.
The other problem is I kind of want to bite somebody.

LOL Good thing i worked real jobs back in the day In another post I think you said something about living a long time. I think if your going to get SS for 15 years or more it would pay to not start taking it for a few years. Jim

Everyone I talked to, has told me the best thing is to collect SS as soon as you are eligible- I figured it out- if I live 20 more years, I'd only get another $7-8000 more (at 82) if I started at 70, vs 62.
granted, if I did live forever- would have been smarter waiting...LOL

Those figures don't seem right to me but maybe in your case they are correct. Some people are even paying back SS because they have found out it will pay for them in the long run.

if I waited until 70, it would be like another 400 a month
