Looks like Savage is going to be chambering the old 222 in some rifles next year. Just a caliber that I have a soft spot for as most 222s I have ever been around shot great.

I agree, but were can you get the ammo any more? .223 seems alot easier to come buy.

you can get .222 remington ammo in Hornady 50 grain V max super formance for 17.00 per 20 box. Is it better than a.223? I doubt it.

You can get hornady factory ammo in a .222 as well. Two weights for the bullets. 55 and 65 grain i believe. I hav a Rem 700 in .222. It shoots pretty well. I wish i had more time to play with it.
