I can't do anything other than scratch me head on that statement, t-man. I had nothing but catch circles, twisted up cable, and live animals in the older Duke #220s. I don't get it. Even saw others trails sets along with ways with the same results as mine.
Sure aint saying your lying....just don't understand the total opposite results from the same trap is all. Did you do anything special to those traps?
I even wrote Duke at the time (long ago) and they shipped me a free dozen new ones. Great customer service, but I tossed them in the garbage. Wish I would have kept them for rats, though.
calvin- me bad- disregard my comment on the dukes-
I DID lie to you...........
I thought, for whatever reason, 220s were dukes- never bought any new, just used here and there
your comment got me wondring, so went out to check brand- and I don't know what brand they are. I can't see no ID on any part of them-
so- what they are I don't have a clue- i'm not a real conibear guy-
some have that hinged spring if that helps-
but I guess my point wasn't that they were dukes so much, as that I can set them by hand, and have the DOA results. and I can't begin to set new 200s by hand- just don't have the hand strength I once did.
