Here are some catch pictures from my 2010 season so far. 1st ever red fox catch. Caught in Steve's stepdown set. 2nd ever red fox catch 1st coyote of the year. Dirthole in a corner of a cornfield 2nd coyote of the year. Same location as first one. coon in a Duke DP coon den set. Found this along a river while deer hunting. Caught one coming out of the den. Both coyotes were young ones. 2nd red fox was caught in dirthole set right next to the field road I access property from. Noticed fox droppings a couple of days in a row on the road. Caught the fox day after making set.

Good job!!!!!! Really like that coon pic. Looks like a defensive lineman waiting for the play to start. LOL. What size of conibear trap is that in front of den?

Interesting to see the terrain. Nice catches, too!
That coon den is something. The only ones I have seen are in rock piles. It almost looks like a bear den.

I really didn't expect to catch a coon at that den. I was assuming it was a fox den just because I've always associated coon with dens in rocks or trees. I actually found 3 dens in the same area with a lot of evidence of something using them. Just never found any indvidual tracks so I didn't know who was living there. So I figured I would set the traps in the afternoon when whatever lived there would more than likely be in the den and if it wanted to come out to eat that night it would have to go through the conibear first. Had a large coon in that den the next morning. No luck at the other 2 dens. Was only able to have traps set for 2 days so that's all I caught was the one.
