I snared a cross fox. Almost lost it to a wolf but the big boy chickened out at the last few feet. Made one heck of a kick back, though.

I don't know anything about these critters. Are they a product of a red and a grey ...are they their own subspecies or what? Sure are cool lookin.

just a color phase of a red fox. Very true. There can be cross, red and silver all in the same litter. The cross and silver genes seem to be stronger in some areas than others.

Caught this red this morning. It was growly, chewing on sticks, and looked really peeved and upset. It was one CROSS fox! A little Canuck humour! (very little)
