I admit it , I in the past have coon trapped mink. I do quite well but dont like dickin with the tension all the time. I have ran nite latches as I was checking in the dark and dont like dinkin with a trap I like to hear that CLICK know its set right an go go go. I have played with dropping the tension in different ways. Your thoughts ??

my 1.5s have a short notch- and work fine for coon, mink and rats
if you have a free falling pan, then tension should be right for all

then I'd just take em' and go-
to me, whether tight in a baited pocket or a blind set, its important to have the mink both come over the far edge of the pan and/or between the jaws, not over them.

Anyone see the trigger mods in the Trapper/ Predator Caller? Isnt that kinda complacated? And unnecessary?

. I have played with dropping the tension in different ways. Your thoughts ?? This was discussed just recently on here so you should be able to search it. Basically, moving the fulcrum point further from the pan notch end of the dog.
