Took the beagle for a run today, figured I'd try to video some. Didn't work worth a crap. I'm using my digital camera, I had 80 some pics left on the SD card, and burnt them in 33 seconds. Mostly at my feet, trying to figure how to stop the gizmo. Figured if I wasted half-hour downloading the video, I'd at least share it. When the video first starts, (about 1sec mark), watch the left edge, the bunny is angleing closer and to the left, it comes out from under the logs, about 2-hops worth, of action packed video. But you can hear the dog, she fired it up pretty good, shortly after the Sd card petered-out. Enjoy.

The joys of video. I think i saw something on the left!
I can't believe the lack of snow and brush. It's as if you're in a field!
At least we can hear the dog bark.

Knew you guys would enjoy the video. The white spot left of the cedar tree is the dog, she jumped the bunny off to the right of the field, I watched it go in the rose-bush patch, I couldn't see it in the camera, knew it was there someplace? I watched the video 2 or 3 times before I was sure it was the rabbit. That's off 50 yards or so? After she got clear of the briars, she smoked it good, circled around behind me and went in a hole. Maybe 300 yards total. We didn't have much time, got her pointed to the brush, figured she'd find one someplace, heck I was sitting on a rock when she first opened, ran it right past me. Really hoped it'd run over against the north side of the ridge in the snow. Planning on taking her out again in the morning. Might even take the camcorder.
