My son now traps around the house. It used to be MY line but now it's his! It isn't a big line. All traps are on our woodlots within a mile of the house. Today I went with him. It was the first time I've gone this year. He checks each day on his own prior to school. Here are a few photos. Check out the weasel. I guess that the flying squirrel picked a wrong time to be stealing bait. It happens often enough but it's cool every time! The squirrel has the bait and the weasel has the squirrel! Wifey/Mom had her usual grouse hunting skills. We saw 4. She got three.

Super nice pics! Is she that good of a shot? I can't hit a grouse to save my butt unless it's sitting. LOL

The grouse are making me hungry! By far my favorite fowl table fair.
Wish those flying squirrels would disapear...they like red meat WAY too much!

I see 100's of grouse every day but they are always in the air out of range, they hang out in the am's here in the short grass pastures next to corn fields.
