Well here is another snared yote from this morning. I had to look at him long and hard to make sure he wasn't no house dog. I have never seen a charcoal coyote like this one. He is in good shape snared with 1/8 cable. The cable had one kink in it out of the picture is all. Well this one is live and well and will be off to the pens soon. No chew out here Bob.

I don't know what the market is doing, but a black one like that may be worth more to the taxidermists than the pens.

nice colored coyote, indeed.
What's the frayed material to the lower right? hard to tell from the pic but, looks like unraveled cable - saw the same thing in your first pic. can you tell us what that is??

that is the one fray spot in the cable. this yote got tangled in some small saplings. The last two have frayed the cable low close to the anchor site. the cable was unraveled not frayed.
