Hi RiverRat.
Fiocchi is from Italy and a very old and very good company. There have a number of grades of .22 ammunition.
In pistol shooting I use:
Rapid Fire S M 280 for Rapid Fire Pistol
Super Match 300 for other pistol disciplines.
(These are .22 LR)
I don't target shoot at this time anything in 22 LR for rifle but some friends use the Super Match 320 for shooting English Match and won't change.
This stuff is really the top line stuff and I am told by shooters that all their ammunition is as good as or better than anything else anywhere near their price range.
I know the .22 LR Ultrasonic is a very good high performance cartridge for general practice and other shooting.

Their shot shells are top notch as well. I have had many clients use this product over the years, and whatever gets hit with it dies.

The company is originally from Italy but is now based in Missouri . I just ordered a brick. I will report on how it performs.

Fiocchi is still based in Italy, with it's main production still there, but they have production facilities in the U.S. now too. Fiocchi of AmericaThey make good ammo, some of the very best shotshells. I use a lot of Fiocchi hulls in reloading shotshells, they are available as new primed and if you want to load 3" or 3 1/2" their hulls are very good.
