A very deep subject. All those words you used are not valid in a calling situation. If you are constantly being winded, perhaps you should look at the details (and choices) in stand selection? Do you set up with a clear view of your downwind and do you have any plan for preventing a coyote from getting downwind, or can you stop him and kill him before he gets there?
The idea of a cover scent so that a coyote will not detect your presence is a cruel joke.
Scent blocker may have some value on an all day deer stand with variable winds, but on a fifteen minute calling stand, it's a complete waste of time and money, because it doesn't work.
Scent killer is a marketing tool designed to spend your money building your confidence with false hope.
Can you kill a coyote when he gets downwind; do you have any experience with misting or know how it's done? It doesn't do any of the above, but it will allow you to kill a coyote that insists on getting your wind. It's a difficult concept to explain and to understand.

knowing where the wind is at all times is the most important factor to kill predators. Second is knowing the difference between a 100 yrd wind and a 200 yrd wind ( distance scent will travel) always look straight downwind (12:00) and understand an incomeing target must be shot before he gets to 11:00 or 1:00. The slightest change in direction must be monitored constantly.

Ditto all the above.
Pretty tough to beat a coyotes nose.
Come hunt out in this barren desert and you won't have to worry about it. You can see em comin for miles! Shoot when they get just inside 500 yds.
