I caught a few cats here in N.y. Nothing like the size of that guy. Nice pics as usual

Yeah it's supposed to be North of Elko Nevada by the Newmont mine.
Big cat country, big deer country.
I was telling the guys I email with (cat pack) that I bet he's got a casty belly.

I had a lion hunter from Minnesota tell me one time he found where a cat attacked a deer. Snow on the ground told the story, the cat rode the deer for a long way. Deer hair scattered all along. Finally the deer went under a low branch and wiped the cat off and got away.

These big males a quite the beasts. No wonder coyotes and even mt. lions don't mess with them. In a trap they seem to be much calmer than the females and smaller cats for some reason.
