I'm sure Trev will chime in here. I have never had or shot a 25 STW but I had seen claims of around 4k with the 100's before so I figure thats about got to be it. I have no idea what barrel life and all would be, but overbore is overbore, it shouldn't be much harder on barrels that NV's 20 Super Wolfer. I still prefer the 6's, but haven't been around the big long 20's so really have no opinion. I'm not going to shoot a coyote past around 400 anyway, so I have all the horsepower and ballistics I need.

Looked up the 25 STW and they say 2000 rounds per life of barrel. Doesn't leave much barrel life after sight in and getting to know the rifle.

GB1620 WOW! That is what I'm looking for! Now if I only had a few 1,000 to drop on a new rifle I'd be set. 4 kids and a wife/ just a poor ADC trapper, unless I win the lottery I'll be a factory guy LOL. That bullet has a much higher BC than that of the nosler bal tip 100 grain.

Trevor, Talked to my gun smith and he told me he never heard of that wildcat and also said he wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Who is your gunsmith that built the rifle for you as I'd like to talk to him.
