How do you setup to keep from getting attacked from the back? It has happened to 2 different farmers I know.

You locate your coyotes first so you know where they are or you have a pretty good idea where they would be coming from first. Haven't had it happen to me in years. I also call into an area and keep moving through an area.
With that said, I realize in heavy timber, heavy junipers, or heavy sage, that coyotes can approach from any direction. In that situation, I use a remote caller and set myself up downwind so when these animals circle, they circle to me.
